“Telling stories that connect, inspire, and elevate”
I’m an award-winning Nigerian-Irish journalist, author and presenter. Over the past decade, I’ve produced hundreds of feature stories for RTÉ, highlighting the people, communities and cultures that make Ireland vibrant.
I also explore the themes of identity through fiction, film, and public projects. My debut book, Braids Take A Day (2024), was shortlisted for Best YA Book of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards. I wrote and directed the queer short film Worthy (2023) and led the Bla-Q Project (2021), celebrating Black queer identities in Ireland.
Looking ahead, I’m interested in developing visual and authored work that explore cultural and social themes with care and nuance. I’m particularly drawn to storytelling that resonates beyond the moment it’s published or broadcast, work that invites continued conversation and deeper analysis.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to build a sustainable, independent practice. Whether on the page, on screen or through artistic projects, my aim is to create work that feels considered, human and inspiring.
